Our Half Pig Share gives you the flexibility to customize your pork to fit your family's cooking preferences. After placing your order, we'll contact you with a cut sheet from Bud's Custom Meats, where you can select your preferred cuts, sausage flavors, package sizes, and additional processing options such as curing and smoking. Not sure where to start? Farmher Tiffany is more than happy to help you navigate the cut sheet, offer recommendations, and share a few tips to help you get the most out of your share. After all, there's no need to play "Pass the Pig" when it comes to making decisions. We're here to help you bring home the bacon!
Once you've completed the cut sheet, simply return it to us and we'll coordinate the details with Bud's. When your pork is ready, the butcher will contact you directly to arrange pickup.
To reserve your share a $100 non-refundable deposit is required, we will send an invoice for the remaining amount once the hang weight has been determined. If for some reason we need to cancel your order you will receive your deposit back in full.
The customer is required to pay the butcher fees which will fluctuate as there are additional costs for sausage, cured meats and plastic wrap. Last year our fees were approximately $300.
