Turkeys
At Wise Acre, our white broad-breasted turkeys are raised with care, intention, and a whole lot of heart. They’re fed a clean, organic, non-GMO grain diet and grown at a comfortable, natural pace thanks to a lower-protein feed that encourages steady, healthy development instead of rapid weight gain. This slower growth means less stress on the birds and better texture and flavor on your table. We do not use growth hormones or antibiotics, just transparent animal husbandry and gentle harvesting which happens right on the farm. The result is a tender, flavorful turkey you can feel proud to serve, knowing it was raised humanely, fed well, and nurtured right here in your local community.
Most of our turkeys will be pre-reserved, but we’ll have a limited number available for sale during our Saturday and Sunday Meat Markets on November 15th and 16th. All turkeys will be sold frozen, ensuring they stay fresh and ready for you to thaw in time for your holiday feast. Chickens
During Thanksgiving week, we’ll also be offering fresh, never frozen chickens—available for pickup on Tuesday, November 25th or Wednesday, November 26th. Our Freedom Rangers are a slower-growing breed known for their rich flavor and firm, juicy texture. They’re fed an organic, non-GMO grain diet and raised using rotational grazing, where they can forage, scratch, and enjoy fresh air and sunshine. We anticipate birds to range between 5 and 8 pounds, perfect for smaller gatherings or anyone looking to add a farm-fresh option to their holiday menu.

Lamb
This December, we’re thrilled to bring you leg of lamb sourced from Rainbow Family Ranching, a local partnership we’re proud of. Their herds roam across Sonoma County in a pasture-based system that does more than nourish animals — the lambs help maintain firesafe landscapes through careful grazing.
Each leg of lamb will weigh in around 5 pounds and be available for pickup at our December Meat Markets (Sundays, 10 am–1 pm) — or by special arrangement if that window doesn’t work for you. Reserve yours today!
